The "UDPU Power Games" CrossFit competition took place for the first time in the sports hall of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. The event gathered representatives of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, the leadership of the city of Uman, university teachers and students, athletes, and fans.
The honorary guest of the event was the president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Olympic champion Vadym Hutsait, who arrived in Uman on a working visit and participated in the opening ceremony. He was joined by a war veteran, junior lieutenant, certified coach and prizewinner of international competitions and winner of all-Ukrainian CrossFit competitions, instructor of physical training and sports of the National Guard of Ukraine, co-organizer of sports initiatives for civilians and military, and also a graduate of UDPU Volodymyr Tysanyuk.
The participants and guests honored with a moment of silence all those who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine — this symbolic moment served as an important reminder of the price of freedom and independence.
The competition featured teams of veterans and combatants, representatives of the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna, Uman National University, BC "ARES" and DYuSSh No. 1. The athletes demonstrated strength, endurance, and team spirit.

After the sports part ended, the President of the NOC of Ukraine Vadym Hutsait presented appreciation awards for significant contributions to the development of the Olympic movement and the promotion of physical culture to the teachers and students of the Faculty of Physical Education of UDPU named after Pavlo Tychyna, representatives of DYuSSh, and specialists from the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Uman City Council.
The CrossFit competition "UDPU Power Games" in Uman brought together representatives of the city and the region, emphasizing the importance of sports for health and community cohesion. The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and great athletic spirit, which deserves admiration and support.
