The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed decrees awarding the title of Hero of Ukraine with the order 'Golden Star' to three soldiers. This information was reported by 'Glavkom,' referring to the Office of the President.
Thus, the title of Hero was awarded to Shevchuk Mykola Vasilyovych, commander of the special forces battalion 'Donbas.'
Colonel Myronenko Oleg Mykolayovych, who participated in hostilities in eastern Ukraine, also became a Hero of Ukraine. Throughout his career, he held various positions, ranging from deputy commander of the battalion to commanding a battalion-tactical group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Lieutenant Colonel Onopriych Rоман Alexandrovich, head of the sector of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast, was also awarded the title of Hero.
At the beginning of the year, the president also awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to pilot Dmytro Fischer, junior sergeant Vitaliy Karvatskyi, and soldier Oleg Yarovyi.
