The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address thanked Ukrainian rescuers for their important and exhausting work. He expressed special gratitude to the Emergency Service workers in the southern part of the country, where there was a significant burden after the Russian attacks.
In his speech, specific names of rescuers who demonstrated high professionalism during rescue operations were mentioned. In particular, workers from the Odesa region were recognized, such as Yuriy Afanasyev, Ruslan Bobok, Yevhen Belchenko, and others, as well as from Mykolaiv region, including Oleksandr Babiy, Vladislav Voznyuk, Dmytro Zarvansky, and others.
In his address, the president emphasized the importance of the rescuers' work and expressed deep gratitude for their selfless service for the good of Ukraine during difficult situations and dangers. Zelensky also noted that every rescuer deserves recognition and support from Ukrainian society.
