The interstellar object 3I/ATLAS continues to amaze scientists with its unique trajectory and chemical composition. Astrophysicist Valentin Hadenov shared interesting details about this object in an interview on Yurii Romanenko's YouTube channel.

Anomalies that inspire admiration

The trajectory of ATLAS, which almost exactly corresponds to the plane of the ecliptic, raises questions among scientists due to its extraordinary accuracy of movement. It's hard to imagine for a random object that came from space.

«Our planets move in the plane of the ecliptic... and it burst into our Solar System precisely along this plane, — explains Valentin Hadenov. — The chance of such a coincidence, as determined by scientists, is about one in five hundred».

Furthermore, the object stands out with its 'industrial exhaust' and atypical chemical composition of emissions, which is rarely observed in comets.

NASA's preparation for the photoshoot

It is expected that 3I/ATLAS will soon approach Mars, and NASA plans to take this opportunity to obtain detailed images of the object using the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) orbital station. The first data from the photoshoot is expected by the end of October, which may help unravel the mysteries of this intriguing object.
