UNITED24 raises $500,000 for the modernization of shelters for kindergartens
United24 is launching a fundraising campaign totaling $500,000 to modernize 61 shelters in kindergartens in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. The main goal of the project is to create modern and comfortable conditions for children's education.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, preschool institutions are attended by 16,000 children, while in Kharkiv - 15,600. Many kindergartens operate in outdated conditions, and 61 of them urgently need to update their shelters.
'New equipment and comfortable furniture provide an opportunity for children to learn in a safe and cozy environment. Each updated shelter is another step in protecting children,' say the project representatives.
