On Thursday, October 30, an unpleasant incident occurred in Transcarpathia - a car driver not only sped through two closed barriers at the border crossing but also injured a border guard. After that, the driver fled to Hungary, violating Ukraine's border. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Mukachevo border detachment, Lesya Fedorova. Such information was disseminated by the publication 'Glavcom' referring to Zaxid.net.
Details of the incident
The spokesperson's words were confirmed - the car driver at high speed crashed through both barriers and entered the territory of the neighboring country. As a result, the border guard was injured. Information also appeared online that the driver of the car was 38-year-old Eduard Pukanich, a former lawyer and currently serving in a military unit. A well-known deputy mentioned this in his Telegram channel.
As a result of the incident, the border guard sustained injuries, and the car driver was evacuated to the territory of another country. The police are investigating all circumstances of this case to identify and punish those responsible according to the law.
