PrivatBank offers several ways for customers to maintain access to their accounts once their payment cards reach their expiration date. Options include ordering a replacement plastic card or issuing a digital card through the Privat24 mobile app. It is worth noting that, for the duration of martial law, the validity of all plastic cards has been automatically extended.
Card Replacement Options
Bank clients can get a new card issued directly at any PrivatBank branch. Alternatively, they can request delivery of a new card, whether within Ukraine or abroad. Another option is to create a Digital card within the Privat24 app. To do this, navigate to the 'All Cards' section, tap 'Add', and select the 'Digital card' option. This virtual card can be used for contactless payments in stores via smartphone, for online shopping, and for withdrawing cash from PrivatBank ATMs.
Customers holding expired cards face no restrictions when paying for goods, services, or withdrawing cash. This ensures continued convenience in accessing financial services, even during challenging times.
