PrivatBank expands ticket sales for European trains: which countries are available

ПриватБанк розширює можливості купівлі квитків на європейські потяги: які маршрути зараз відкриті для подорожей.

Expansion of Ticket Sales Opportunities

PrivatBank is expanding ticket sales for European railways for Ukrainians. Now customers can buy tickets for the railways of countries such as:

  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Czech Republic
  • Italy
  • Switzerland
  • Spain

In addition, tickets for intercity train routes with Poland are available, including routes from Warsaw to Prague and Vienna to Warsaw.

Convenience for Ukrainian Users

The ticket sales service is adapted for Ukrainian users. Information is available in Ukrainian, and payment can be made using a PrivatBank card. There is also 24/7 technical support for customer convenience. However, it should be noted that changes to issued tickets are not possible, and if a ticket becomes invalid, a new one must be issued. During the passenger data entry, up to three mistakes in the first or last name are allowed.

Customers can use an electronic ticket by showing it to the conductor on their smartphone screen. If the ticket is issued by order number, it must be exchanged for a ticket at the station ticket office no later than 30 minutes before departure. It is worth noting that during martial law, ticket sales open 20 days before departure, and ticket reservations during this period are unavailable.

“We provide our customers with maximum comfort, overcoming language barriers and making it easy to search for and purchase train tickets regardless of their location.”

Dmytro Musiyenko, PrivatBank representative

The expansion of PrivatBank's ticket sales service is an important step for Ukrainian travelers, as it simplifies access to European railway routes. This may be particularly relevant in the context of increasing mobility of Ukrainians abroad, which, in turn, contributes to their integration and cultural exchange. Such innovations may also positively impact the tourism sector in Ukraine, as they facilitate travel to European countries, taking into account modern challenges and customer needs.
