PrivatBank Unveils New 'Envelope' Service
PrivatBank has launched a new feature called 'Envelope' within its Privat24 app. This service functions as a personal financial management hub, allowing users to save money while retaining full access to their funds and earning interest. The bank's press service announced the launch, highlighting its role as a digital tool for everyday finance.
Service Features and Terms
The service can be set up remotely via the Privat24 app. For deposits starting at 3,000 Ukrainian hryvnias, the bank pays 5% annual interest, credited monthly. There is no fee for adding money to an Envelope, and funds can be transferred to the user's own card or to another person's card. Furthermore, the money is available for contactless payments through Google Pay or Apple Pay.
As the financial institution clarified,
"When an Envelope holds 3,000 hryvnias or more, the bank automatically accrues 5% annual interest each month."This allows clients to earn a return on their savings without losing liquidity or immediate access to the money. In a competitive banking market, such features help customers make their idle funds work for them.
The introduction of the Envelope service is part of PrivatBank's broader strategy to enhance its digital financial tools for customers.
