The situation at the Kupiansk front
According to the deputy commander of the 'Ghost of Khortytsia' battalion of the 15th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the situation at the Kupiansk front is still quite tense. The enemy actively uses small assault groups, FPV drones, and artillery in an attempt to break the defense of the 'Kara-Dag' brigade.
Enemy forces avoid large mass movements of infantry or equipment; they use small groups of fighters to penetrate Ukrainian positions. They also employ FPV kamikazes and 'bombers' to attack at any time of day.
A particular problem for Ukrainian defenders is the enemy's tactic of using anti-thermal cloaks during nighttime operations. However, thanks to agile actions and the effective use of unmanned systems, Ukrainian military successfully maintain their positions and prevent a breach of the defense in this direction.
Events at the Kupiansk front indicate a continuation of intense combat and a high level of readiness of the troops to defend their positions. Ukrainian military demonstrate effectiveness in repelling the enemy without allowing a breakthrough.
