In November, some changes occurred in the financial market. The number of participants in the non-banking sector decreased by six, remaining at 781 individuals. The number of licensed banks remains stable at 60.
At the beginning of December 2025, the market of non-banking financial services was represented by:
- 414 financial companies;
- 48 non-life insurers, 10 life insurers, and 1 insurer with special status;
- 102 pawnshops;
- 86 credit unions;
- 1 leasing provider;
- 45 insurance brokers;
- 74 collection companies.
The number of banking groups remained unchanged at 16, while the number of non-banking financial groups decreased by one to 41.
There are 15 payment systems operating in the payment market, including 10 international ones. Payment and financial institutions, banking issuers of electronic money, and postal operators are active here.
- 16 payment institutions;
- 12 financial institutions authorized to provide payment services;
- 58 commercial agents;
- 32 technological operators of payment services.
In November, some changes were observed in the financial sector, but overall the situation remains stable, with an adopted market development strategy. The Ukrainian financial system continues to operate effectively, providing a wide range of financial services for the population and businesses.
