In addition to the fairs, Kyiv also operates municipal markets, including:

  • Zhitnii Market (Verkhnii Val Street, 16)
  • Bessarabskyi Market (Bessarabska Square, 2)

Social Tents will be set up at the fairs, offering products at prices 10-50% lower. Throughout 2025, 10,681 such tents have been organized, facilitating the sale of nearly 5,000 tons of goods.

These fairs play a key role in providing affordable food to residents, especially amid current economic challenges. The Social Tent initiative helps reduce grocery costs for low-income groups. With potential air raid alerts, organizers emphasize participant safety, reflecting a responsible approach to hosting events under the present circumstances.

As Kyiv prepares for the upcoming food fairs, it's worth noting that the city also hosts regular fresh food markets. These markets offer a variety of local products and can be a great alternative for those looking for fresh goods outside of the fair dates.
