Webinar on Spring Folk Games for Ukrainian Educators
The 'Know Your Ukraine' project recently hosted a webinar titled 'Spring Folk Games in the Ukrainian School' for teachers. This initiative provided educators with resources to incorporate traditional Ukrainian games into their curriculum. The event generated remarkable interest, attracting around a thousand registrations in just two days. We discussed with teachers how to utilize Ukrainian folk games in today's educational settings. At a time when much of education and childhood interaction is shifting to digital formats, activities involving song, movement, and play naturally teach children to interact, collaborate, and spend time together. That's why it's crucial to reintroduce these folk games into modern educational spaces.”
