Overnight lows for most of Ukraine will be between -6°C and -11°C, with daytime highs of 0°C to -5°C. In the north, temperatures may drop to -17°C at night and -5°C to -10°C during the day. Icy road conditions are anticipated nationwide, except in the southeast. Winds will be northeasterly, with gusts in a number of regions.
Cloudy weather is forecast for the Kyiv region and the capital city. No precipitation is expected overnight, but daytime snow is possible, with patches of ice on roads. Temperatures in the Kyiv region will range from -12°C to -17°C at night and -5°C to -10°C during the day. In Kyiv itself, nighttime temperatures will be from -12°C to -14°C, with daytime readings from -8°C to -10°C. Northeasterly winds in the region will blow at 7-12 m/s.
