The program 'єЯсла' has started: how to receive 8,000 hryvnias per child
In Ukraine, starting from January 1, the 'єЯсла' program has been launched, providing financial assistance to parents of children aged 1 to 3 years to compensate for childcare expenses. The assistance is intended for mothers or legal guardians who care for the child and work full-time.
The amount of assistance is 8,000 hryvnias per month for families where the mother or representative returns to work after the child turns one. For families raising a child with a disability, the amount of assistance is 12,000 hryvnias per month. It is important to note that the assistance is targeted and can only be used for payment of childcare services.
How to apply for assistance
Applying for assistance is possible through the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Services for which the assistance can be used include:
- payment for private preschool educational institutions;
- services of individual entrepreneurs and legal entities;
- paid services in communal and state preschool educational institutions.
This will provide parents with support in organizing proper care for their children during the return to work.
The introduction of the 'єЯсла' program is an important step in supporting families in Ukraine, especially in conditions where many parents are forced to combine work with caring for infants. This initiative can become significant assistance for families facing difficulties in providing proper care for children while resuming work activity. It also emphasizes the state's commitment to support parents in raising children, which may positively affect the demographic situation in the country.
