In Kyiv, the prosecutor's office annulled the land lease agreement through the court. This occurred because the area of the property was increased almost tenfold under the guise of reconstruction. The court made the decision based on a lawsuit from the Dnipro District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv, recognizing the lease agreement as invalid.
According to the court's ruling, a private company illegally registered the ownership rights to the building on this site. After that, it applied to the city council for permission to lease the land for this building, which it used for other activities, not as a café, as indicated in the documents.
After appealing the court's decision through the cassation procedure, the Supreme Court overturned the previous rulings, recognized the lease agreement as invalid, and ordered the company to return the land plot by dismantling the building.

As a result of the court case, the prosecutor's office annulled the invalid land lease agreement in Kyiv due to the illegal change of the building's intended use and the use of the land for purposes other than agreed upon. The owner must now return the plot to the state it was in before the questionable contract was concluded.
