The prosecutor's office struck a clear court demand against the capital's company: to return a land plot in Troieschyna worth 7 million hryvnias to the Kyiv community and demolish the buildings on this site. The decision was supported by the Desnyansky District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv.
The court ordered the company to return the plot to the community, demolish garages, non-residential buildings, and temporary structures, as well as annul the illegal registration of property rights on these structures. The site is located at 82-a Honoré de Balzac Street and was used for servicing a parking lot.
“Even after the court's decision, the company sold the property to another company on its own. It is known that the head of both enterprises is the same person,” the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office stated.
As a result of the decision of the Economic Court of Kyiv, the prosecutor's claim was satisfied, which allowed the return of the land for the benefit of the local community.
This story is an example of the prosecutor's successful work in protecting the interests of the community and upholding the rule of law in the country.
