Official Charged with Abuse of Power
The Desniansky District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv has submitted an indictment to the court against a procurement official from the district education department. According to the case file, the accused acted in the interests of the electricity supply company. The alleged offenses occurred between January and September 2023. Specifically, the official signed supplementary agreements for electricity supply at prices significantly above market rates. A forensic economic examination confirmed the losses surpass 1.8 million hryvnias.
