Prosecutor Maleyev went on leave after the scandal
A ridiculous scandal on the 'Supermama' program sent the Deputy Head of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office, Prosecutor Oleksandr Maleyev, on parental leave. This happened after the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors decided to dismiss him. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing zaxid.net.
Maleyev cannot be dismissed immediately - he will remain on leave until his child is a bit older - until September 11, 2026.
It was previously announced that Maleyev is planned to be dismissed after his participation in the 'Supermama' program.
The program showcased expensive property and a visit to childbirth in the USA, which prompted an investigation into the official's assets. Later, it turned out that the information in Maleyev's declaration was misleading, which led to his dismissal on July 9. However, the next day he began his parental leave.
Maleyev himself explained that the apartment shown on the 'Supermama' program was provided for filming by his relatives.
After participating in the scandalous program 'Supermama', Prosecutor Maleyev was dismissed and decided to go on leave until his child turns three years old.
