United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the call for expressions of interest to participate in the program for supplying internationally transferred results of emission reductions. This program aims to attract private investments in projects that contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Ukrainian companies can participate in the program as part of cooperation with Switzerland in accordance with Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement.
Program Details
The implementation of projects is planned for 2026–2030, and the deadline for submitting expressions of interest is set for January 30, 2026. An information session for interested participants will take place on January 14. The program offers an opportunity to attract funding for various decarbonization projects, particularly in the areas of:
- renewable energy
- energy efficiency
- agriculture

This UNDP initiative creates a foundation for Ukrainian companies looking to invest in sustainable development and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Considering global efforts to combat climate change and adapt to new environmental standards, participation in the program can be an important step towards the development of innovative technologies and renewable energy sources in Ukraine. Furthermore, it opens new opportunities for cooperation between countries in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.
