Meeting with Representatives of the Netherlands, Moldova, and the Council of Europe
Today we met with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, President of Moldova Maia Sandu, and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejcinovic Buric during a diplomatic conference dedicated to the establishment of the International Compensation Commission for Ukraine.
We discussed the work on creating an international compensation mechanism in general and specifically the International Compensation Commission. This commission will consider claims for compensation for damage and losses caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine. Justice is as important as peace. We thank everyone who helps us in this.
On the sidelines of the diplomatic conference, we held a joint meeting with the leaders of the Netherlands, Moldova, and the Council of Europe to discuss the establishment of the International Compensation Commission for Ukraine.
