The Government of Ukraine is once again implementing a new institution that should provide the country with the necessary reserves for a reliable response to current challenges. The State Agency for Reserve Management of Ukraine (SARMU) will be responsible for the formation, storage, and issuance of state reserves, as well as coordinating work in this direction.
"SARMU will manage and coordinate work through the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine via the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy, with an emphasis on implementing state policy regarding state reserves," the Ministry of Economy reported.
Thanks to the new agency, the government plans to enhance the efficiency of state reserve management and ensure the reliability of supplies of necessary material values in case of need.
