Points of Unbreakability Across Ukraine: How Thousands of Support Centers Operate
The Ukrainian government ensures the operation of points of unbreakability to support people in difficult conditions, especially after enemy attacks. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko instructed the relevant agencies and services to ensure the uninterrupted operation of these centers. Currently, there are 6,908 points of unbreakability deployed across Ukraine, with 2,703 in reserve.
Operation of Points of Unbreakability in Kyiv
In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, nearly 1,300 points of unbreakability are operating. These centers provide necessary assistance and support to citizens in need. As part of the initiative of Ukrzaliznytsia, the first seven unbreakability wagons have already started operating in Kyiv region. Each wagon can accommodate about 40 people at the same time, providing additional spaces for those seeking shelter.
In total, within the framework of the program, 100 passenger cars from the inactive fleet have been refurbished, adding even more opportunities to support the population. OVA in collaboration with local authorities must maximize the deployment of additional points to ensure access to necessary assistance in all regions of the country.
The introduction of points of unbreakability is an important step in providing social support during crisis situations arising from military actions. This not only allows for urgent assistance but also enhances the safety level of the population, especially in cities that are often subjected to attacks.
Given the current conditions, initiatives that promote the creation of additional shelter spaces are critically important for preserving the lives and health of citizens.
