The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, accused the Kremlin of provocations using drones to observe Europe's reaction and send a signal regarding the possible weakening of support for Ukraine. He also emphasized that Russian leader Vladimir Putin may try to open a new front in the conflict even before the fighting is over.
“I thought this would happen earlier. I mentioned it. The question is that Putin will not wait for the end of the war in Ukraine. He will open some other direction. No one knows which one... Undoubtedly, he wants this,” explained the president.
Zelensky also stated that he had consulted with several countries, but did not specify which ones. He reported on the deployment of Ukrainian specialists in counter-drone operations to an international advisory group, as well as the acceptance of representatives from other countries for training. Moreover, Zelensky warned about the possibility of energy terror from Russia, stating that the response would be symmetrical, noting that the Patriot missile system is already operational in Ukraine, having arrived from Israel.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues, with the Ukrainian president warning of possible new directions of military action and the country's readiness to respond to any provocations. Zelensky's statements indicate that the situation remains tense, and the conflict may escalate in the near future.
