Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Vladimir Putin started the war not only for Donbas but for the entire territory of the country. He made this statement during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Portugal in Kyiv.
According to Zelensky, Putin tries to decide everything himself or with his supporters. The Ukrainian president emphasized that Russian aggression in Ukraine has a deeper meaning than just the occupation of territory.
“Russia will never be satisfied with a layer of our land. If someone gives it something, it still will not stop,” Zelensky noted.
The meeting between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Portugal underscored the seriousness of the situation with Russian aggression on Ukrainian territory and the importance of unity in the fight for independence and the territorial integrity of the country.
