Appointment of Dmytro Natalukha

The Rada appointed Dmytro Natalukha as the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine on January 14. This decision was supported by 244 members of parliament who voted 'for' the appointment. Prior to this, the acting head of the State Property Fund was Ivanna Smachylo.

Biography and Previous Activities

Dmytro Natalukha, who is 38 years old, was born in Moscow. He received his education at the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University, as well as studied at the University of Cambridge and Fitzwilliam College. In 2019, Natalukha was elected as a member of parliament from the 'Servant of the People' party and held the position of head of the committee on economic development.

Among the problems facing the new head of the Fund is the fact that the Fund has not formed or submitted consolidated financial statements for over 2,000 state enterprises. This issue may become one of the priorities in Dmytro Natalukha's activities in his new position.

The appointment of Dmytro Natalukha as the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine marks an important step in the management of state enterprises in Ukraine.

In the face of economic challenges that the country is facing, effective management of state assets becomes critically important. How Natalukha copes with the task of forming financial reporting and improving the transparency of the Fund's activities will determine the further development of the public sector and the trust of society in state institutions.
