Ракетний удар по Кривому Рогу призвів до жертв та постраждалих – чиновники підтвердили трагедію.

Deadly Missile Attack Hits Kryvyi Rih

A missile strike launched by Russian forces has struck the city of Kryvyi Rih, resulting in fatalities and numerous injuries. The attack hit a residential area between multi-story apartment buildings, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, who provided details on the incident.

As of June 23, when the report was published, three people have been confirmed dead: two men aged 25 and 34, and a 54-year-old woman. In total, 25 people sustained injuries, with 20 of them currently hospitalized.

Emergency Rescue Operations Underway

Rescue crews remain active at the scene.

“The missile hit a densely built-up urban sector between apartment blocks. Fires have been extinguished, but the rescue operation continues—there is extensive damage: windows, balconies, and gas and water supplies have been shut off,” Oleksandr Vilkul stated.
He also noted that a command center will be set up at a school opposite the impact site, where local residents can receive information and apply for financial assistance.

Among the 25 injured, three are in serious condition, and one is in extremely critical condition.

“Three are in serious condition, one is in extremely critical condition, and a young man and an elderly woman are in a critically severe state. Doctors are doing everything possible and fighting for their lives,” city authorities reported.

It is worth noting this is not the first missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. On May 16, Russian forces carried out a similar attack, causing damage to a local industrial facility.

Rescue operations are ongoing, and the city continues to recover from the assault.

This incident underscores the persistent threat to civilians in Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict. Kryvyi Rih, like many other cities, faces repeated attacks that have severe consequences for residents’ safety and daily life. Local authorities are working to organize aid for the affected, highlighting the urgent need for support and infrastructure restoration in the region.
