Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure
On May 2, Russian forces launched a missile strike against civilian infrastructure in the Krolevec community, located in the Konotop district. The assault left six people injured, three of whom were hospitalized. Medical staff describe the condition of two of the hospitalized victims as serious.
On the same day, in the Putivl community, a hostile drone targeted a civilian vehicle, wounding a child. Earlier on May 2, reports also emerged of two teenagers being injured in the Sumy community due to falling debris from enemy drones.

On April 29, occupying forces struck civilian infrastructure in the Shostka community using both drones and a missile. The attack triggered massive fires in residential areas, and a 65-year-old woman died from carbon monoxide poisoning inside her home. Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov expressed condolences to the victim's family, stating that the enemy
“deliberately targeted homes where civilians live.”
In Kharkiv, five drones hit multiple districts, including Nemyshlyanskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Slobidskyi. Over 30 private houses and five apartment buildings were damaged. One person was reported wounded in Kharkiv. In the Osnovianskyi district, a fire broke out at a hypermarket parking lot, damaging vehicles and buses.
