Occupiers struck a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Today, September 24, the enemies struck one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, two Iskander ballistic missiles were used. This was reported by the Ground Forces.
As a result of the precise hit on the shelter, despite the security measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely avoid casualties among the personnel. Emergency services are working on site. The wounded are being provided with all necessary medical assistance promptly.
Representatives of the Armed Forces added that ongoing work is being done to equip training centers and other military facilities with reliable shelters. Additional security measures are also being implemented to protect servicemen from missile and air attacks by the enemy.
Casualties and security measures
Earlier, Russian troops also struck one of the training grounds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the timely implemented security measures, there were casualties among the personnel. The commander of the Ground Forces resigned after this tragedy.
In the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, enemy forces continue active actions, subjecting Ukrainian military to attacks. Enhanced security measures are being taken to protect servicemen from such attacks, and the system of sheltering facilities is being improved. Despite this, the threat from the occupiers remains an integral part of the living conditions and combat activities of the Ukrainian forces in the east of the country.
