Attacks on Odesa and Zaporizhzhia
On June 21, Russian forces launched a missile attack against civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region, targeting an agricultural enterprise. The strike killed one person and wounded three civilians. The attack, carried out using an Iskander ballistic missile, hit the grounds of a farming facility, sparking a massive blaze. Flames engulfed a warehouse, vehicles, and containers holding fuel and lubricants.
That same day, Russian terrorists carried out two separate attacks on Zaporizhzhia. Around 11:00 PM, the enemy struck a private residence in one of the city's districts. The victims included:
- A 67-year-old woman who sustained shrapnel wounds to her limbs;
- A 71-year-old man diagnosed by medical staff with an acute stress reaction.
Despite repeated air raid alerts and the threat of further strikes, emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene in the Odesa region and managed to contain and extinguish the fire, according to the State Emergency Service of Odesa. These incidents highlight the severity of the situation in areas under bombardment and their devastating impact on civilians.
