Rocket strikes on December 26

On December 26, the Russian army launched a rocket strike on the city of Uman, resulting in damage to at least 50 houses. Of these, 7 buildings were completely destroyed, and 1 partially. This attack also led to 6 injuries.

Additionally, on this day, Russian terrorists attacked the city of Kharkiv, where 2 people were killed, and 8 were injured. On the night of December 26, the Russian army also carried out attacks on ports in Odesa region.

“A Russian rocket caused a lot of damage in the city,” said local resident Ihor Taburets, describing the aftermath of the shelling.

Consequences of the attacks

These attacks occur against the backdrop of a new wave of violence observed in Ukraine, highlighting the threat to civilians and infrastructure. Uman and Kharkiv, which have become targets for shelling, are important cities in terms of both humanitarian situation and strategic interests in the region. Damage to infrastructure and human losses further complicate the situation in a country that is already in conflict.

It is important for the international community to continue monitoring the developments and respond to the ongoing aggression.
