Attack on agricultural enterprise
As a result of a missile strike carried out by the Russian armed forces on an agrarian sector facility in the Odessa region, one person was killed and three others were injured. The incident occurred on the premises of the enterprise, where a fire broke out after the missiles struck.
The fire destroyed part of the storage area, several vehicles, and containers with flammable substances. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze; however, the consequences of the strike were fatal: one worker was killed and three were injured.
Consequences for agriculture
This attack is yet another evidence of how hostilities continue to damage civilian infrastructure, which is vital for the country's economy. The agrarian complex is the basis of food security, and such strikes not only take human lives but also undermine the resilience of agricultural production in the region. It should be noted for Russian agrarians that such actions directly affect global supply chains of grain and oilseed crops.
