On Tuesday, September 9, the 30th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the 'Ramstein' format began in London. The topic of discussion is further military support for Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the agenda for the meeting had been coordinated with British and German colleagues, reaffirming the importance of international support for Ukraine's resilience against Russian aggression.

'We still need to receive an additional 10 Patriot systems, missiles, and other equipment for air defense. This is urgent since Russia is planning further strikes on the energy and civilian infrastructure of our state,' emphasized Shmyhal.

Other countries also expressed their readiness to provide support. The United Kingdom announced funding for the supply of strike kamikaze drones to Ukraine. Germany is transferring 2 complete Patriot systems and is making efforts for a swift replacement.

'A safe Europe needs a strong Ukraine. We see the aggression from Russia, but it only strengthens our unity with the Ukrainians and our determination to support them,' noted the UK's Defense Minister.

For Ukraine, it is important to actively implement a series of initiatives, including the procurement of equipment and financing. Measures to support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression are important to enhance regional security.

The 'Ramstein' meeting in London discussed military support for Ukraine in light of Russian aggression. Various countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany, expressed their readiness to provide assistance, which is crucial for maintaining Ukraine's resilience and security in the region.
