Attack Disrupts Kyiv-Sumy Morning Passenger Train
Early in the morning, a passenger train traveling from Kyiv to Sumy was struck twice by Russian drones, causing the service to be abruptly stopped before reaching its final destination. Fortunately, no passengers were inside the carriages at the time of the attacks. Following the evacuation, passengers were transported to their intended destination by bus.
Hryhorov also praised the railway workers for their coordinated response and timely evacuation, and expressed gratitude to local communities for their quick assistance with transportation.
