Hippotherapy Session Held in Rivne Region

In Ukraine's Rivne region, emergency service personnel recently participated in a hippotherapy session as part of the 'Psychological Practices Hub' project. This initiative serves as a vital component in supporting the psychological well-being of first responders, who routinely face high-stress situations. The event was organized by the Psychological Service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).

Alongside the rescuers, the session involved professional psychologists and certified hippotherapy instructors, who provided expert guidance and support to all participants. Hippotherapy, a treatment method involving interaction with horses, is recognized for its effectiveness in improving the psychological state of individuals in such therapeutic programs.

The Significance of Hippotherapy

This event highlights the importance of integrating alternative treatment methods, like hippotherapy, into psychological support programs for rescuers and other high-stress professions. Given the increasing focus on mental health in the face of modern challenges, such initiatives can contribute significantly to enhancing participants' overall well-being and their capacity to manage emotional burdens.
