Nearly 900 Fires Extinguished and 19 Lives Saved by Rescue Teams in One Week

Last week, emergency crews responded to 5,273 call-outs, successfully extinguishing 873 fires. Of these incidents, 265 occurred in natural ecosystems, highlighting the ongoing challenge of environmental protection. For context, wildfires in grasslands and forests have become a growing concern in the region, often exacerbated by dry weather and human activity.

During these operations, 19 individuals were rescued, demonstrating the readiness and expertise of first responders in critical situations. The efforts of the rescue teams also saved 298 buildings and 27 vehicles from destruction, preserving vital infrastructure and ensuring public safety.
