The Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Konoplianske City Council of Sumy region has conducted a repeated tender for the reconstruction of the children's department building of the district central hospital. Sumbud JSC offered the lowest price - 62.58 million UAH. The work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026, and its financing will be carried out from a state budget subsidy.
This is the most expensive civic construction in the region, which began with the onset of spring and the Russian invasion in Sumy region. This is stated in the material by 'Glavkom' 'Large construction in Sumy region. The most expensive projects that started together with the Russian offensive.'
The Konoplianske district hospital serves more than 20,000 children in the area, of which an average of 1,500 children receive inpatient care per year. The two-story building of the children's department was in an emergency state, so the department was temporarily moved to the therapeutic building of the hospital. The reconstruction includes a set of works on insulation, window replacement, roofing, installation of heating, ventilation, water supply, sewage systems, and more.
Previous attempts at reconstruction
It is important to note that this is not the first attempt by local authorities to reconstruct the children's department. Last May, the project was awarded to Nikostroy LLC, but the contract was terminated due to procurement violations. Now, the reconstruction of the building is planned to be carried out with the participation of Sumbud JSC, whose activities are associated with capital construction in the Sumy City Council.
A repeated tender has been announced in Konopole for the reconstruction of the children's department building of the district central hospital. The work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026 to improve the conditions for providing medical care to the children of the area.
