Razumkov on the government: budget deficit in trillion, corruption in the Security Service of Ukraine and risks of trade war
People's Deputy Dmytro Razumkov sharply criticized the work of the government in an interview, noting the lack of real achievements in the six months of the new Cabinet's powers headed by Yulia Svyrydenko. In his opinion, the main result has been corruption scandals, while the budget deficit may actually reach around a trillion hryvnias if the war continues until the end of the year.
'I do not see these successes. And they adopted a budget that does not correspond to reality at all' – Dmytro Razumkov.
The politician also commented on the statements by businessman Serhiy Vahonian about corruption in the Security Service of Ukraine during the time of Ivan Bakanov, in particular the demands for 50% of profits from grain exports and trade in sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council. He emphasized that 'sooner or later, those who prepared materials for sanction decisions will have to answer for this.'
Trade risks and plans of the authorities
Separately, Razumkov expressed concern over the trade war between the USA and the EU, which threatens to reduce financial and military assistance to Ukraine. In his opinion, there is no Plan B for the authorities in case of a freeze in support.
