Madrid's 'Real' has shown interest in Ukrainian striker Artem Stepanov, who is currently playing for 'Nuremberg' on loan. According to information from Defensa Central, the chief scout of 'Real' has seen in Stepanov a potential successor to Norwegian star striker 'Manchester City' Erling Haaland.
If the young Ukrainian continues to show good performance in the Second Bundesliga, 'Real' may buy him as early as next summer. In the current season, Artem Stepanov has only played 3 matches for 'Nuremberg', but last season he impressed everyone by scoring 22 goals in 17 matches for the youth team of 'Bayer'.
Donetsk's 'Shakhtar' was also in action, drawing in the first leg of the Conference League qualification play-off against Swiss 'Servette'. The match ended in a draw with a score of 1:1 at the stadium in Polish Krakow.
