Online Registration for the NMT
The online registration period for the 2026 National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) will open on March 5, 2026. Prospective test-takers can complete the registration process either through the Diia app or manually. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment has published detailed registration instructions.
Main Testing Sessions and Required Documentation
The primary NMT testing sessions are scheduled to run from May 20 to June 25, 2026. For those unable to test during these main dates, additional sessions will be held from July 17 to July 24, 2026. It is crucial to note that any errors or inaccuracies in the registration can be corrected until April 7.
To create an NMT participant account, applicants will need to provide specific documents. These may include:
- Personal identification documents;
- Documents confirming the taxpayer registration number (RNOKPP);
- A document containing educational background information;
- Certificates for name changes, marriage, or divorce (in specific cases);
- Proof of language education;
- A medical certificate (Form № 086-3/o) confirming the need for special testing accommodations;
- Notarized translations of any documents originally issued in a foreign language.
Therefore, all potential NMT participants have the opportunity to prepare for registration in advance to avoid any difficulties in the process.
Registration for the NMT is a critical step for university applicants, as the test results directly impact eligibility for admission to Ukrainian higher education institutions. The NMT serves as a standardized university entrance exam for many programs. Given the document requirements and registration deadlines, prospective participants are advised to prepare and gather the necessary paperwork early to ensure a smooth application process. The provision of additional testing sessions also helps maintain educational accessibility for all candidates who cannot attend the main dates.
