Registration for Ukraine's 2026 National Multi-Subject Test Opens March 5th

Початок реєстрації на Національний мультипредметний тест в Україні відбудеться 5 березня 2026 року.

Registration for the 2026 National Multi-Subject Test (NMT)

Online registration for Ukraine's 2026 National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) commenced on Thursday, March 5th. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment has published a guide detailing the necessary steps for successful registration. This process involves creating a personal account, selecting subjects, and choosing a testing location. The NMT is a standardized university admissions exam that has become a cornerstone of Ukraine's higher education entry system.

Registration Process

The initial step requires applicants to create a personal participant account. This can be done either through the government's Diia app or manually. For those using Diia, uploading a scanned copy of a school reference letter is sufficient. Applicants opting for manual registration must enter their data and upload document copies independently. Certain categories of applicants are required to submit an extended package of documents.

Corrections to information in the account can be made until April 7th, allowing participants to fix inaccuracies before the exams. The test dates and mandatory subjects for the 2026 NMT have already been confirmed. As the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment advises,

"We recommend regularly checking the status of your document processing after submitting them to the regional center."

Documents required for manual registration include:

  • Personal identification document;
  • Taxpayer identification card;
  • Educational certificate.

Specific applicant categories, such as those who have changed their surname, are taking the test in a national minority language, possess foreign documents, or require special accommodations due to health conditions, must provide an extended document package.

Consequently, registration for the 2026 NMT is now open, and participants have the opportunity to prepare for the test according to the requirements outlined in the official guide.

NMT registration is a crucial step for graduates planning to enter higher education institutions. It ensures an organized approach to testing and helps participants avoid errors in document submission. Given that the deadline for corrections is limited, it is vital for applicants to carefully review their data and adhere to all requirements to ensure a smooth admissions process.
