The Prime Minister of Ukraine together with the First Lady held a meeting on the reform of school nutrition. Participants discussed the results of the reform and future steps for the development of educational institutions. In particular, it was emphasized that the reform of school nutrition is part of the overall process of restoring communities.
There are plans to build five new facilities for hot meals for students, which will help provide food for over 60 thousand children. Financial agreements have also been made with the European Investment Bank for the amount of 1 billion UAH.
The importance of cooperation with international partners for the successful implementation of the reform was emphasized. The Ministry of Development is actively implementing 30 projects for the restoration of schools, where nutrition is considered an integral part of the infrastructure for ensuring the productivity of the learning process.
