This week, the Coordination Council approved the main steps for further reforming public administration. Among them, it is worth noting the development and adoption of a new reform strategy for the next five years, the resumption of competitions for positions in the civil service, and the acceleration of digitalization in government bodies. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, also discussed legislative changes and the implementation of a new information management system for personnel.
In addition, the Coordination Council confirmed the importance of consistent actions in implementing systemic reforms to harmonize legislation with European standards. The reform of public administration is one of the key priorities in the work of the Reform Office of the Cabinet of Ministers, including in preparing the project of the strategy for management development for the next decade.
