Rating of Polish cities with the highest salaries

In Poland, the ranking of cities with the highest and lowest salaries has been updated. According to GUS data for October 2025, Krakow ranked first with an average gross salary of 11,160.39 zlotys. Warsaw and Gdansk are also in the top spots, while the lowest salaries are in Gorzów Wielkopolski — 7,510 zlotys. This is reported by InPoland.

Rating of Polish cities with the highest salaries

Statistics recorded a general increase in income in the corporate sector — the average gross salary across the country was 8,865.12 zlotys, which is 6.6% more than last year. The highest indicators in October 2025 are:

  • Krakow — 11,160.39 zlotys

  • Warsaw — 10,606.89 zlotys

  • Gdansk — 10,370.97 zlotys

  • Katowice — 9,782.69 zlotys

  • Poznan — 9,589.37 zlotys.

In Krakow salaries are rising the fastest: +9.2% year-on-year. The largest increases are observed in the sectors of information and communications, culture and entertainment, transport, trade, and auto repair.

Rating of Polish cities with the lowest salaries

In several voivodeship centers, salaries are significantly lower than the national average. Among the outsiders:

  • Gorzów Wielkopolski — 7,510 zlotys

  • Bialystok — 7,584.90 zlotys

  • Kielce — 7,731.93 zlotys.

The difference between Krakow and Gorzów has reached 3,650.39 zlotys — the largest salary gap among cities.
