Ukrainian footballers continue to confidently hold positions in leading European championships - both in terms of gameplay and earnings. The autumn ranking by Capology showed which of our players have the highest contracts in 2025. This is reported by Sport.ua.
Top 3 Ukrainian footballers by salary
After moving to the French PSG, Illya Zabarniy immediately climbed into the top three highest paid Ukrainian players on the continent. The defender earns 5.45 million euros per year. Above him are only Oleksandr Zinchenko from Nottingham Forest (7.237 million euros) and Artem Dovbik, who now plays for Roma (5.56 million euros).
Unexpectedly, Mykhailo Mudryk found himself outside the ranking: after a doping scandal, his contract with Chelsea, which stipulated 6.03 million euros per year, was suspended. However, goalkeepers and defenders representing top European clubs are consistently in the top ten.
