Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv
From May 5 to May 9, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM daily, traffic on Naberezhne Shose in the Pechersk district will be partially restricted. The measure applies to the stretch between the Metro Bridge and the Paton Bridge interchange, where repair work is scheduled. During this period, only one lane will be open in each direction. Please note that the schedule may shift if weather conditions worsen.
Additional Traffic Changes
Separately, from April 25 through November 30, the overpass near the Chernihivska metro station will be completely closed to both vehicles and pedestrians. Additionally, until August 9, there will be partial restrictions on the overpass crossing the tram tracks on Velyka Kiltseva Road. Meanwhile, bus route No. 4-T will be suspended until June 27 due to repair work on the railway bridge between Pochaina and Raiduzhnyi stations.
These traffic measures are part of planned infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving Kyiv’s road network. Residents and visitors should plan their journeys accordingly, as these changes may significantly affect daily commutes. It is advisable to consider alternative transport options or check road conditions in advance to avoid congestion.
In addition to the upcoming traffic restrictions on Naberezhne Shose, the Southern Bridge and nearby overpass will also face closures, further impacting travel in the area. These measures are part of a broader initiative to enhance Kyiv's infrastructure, making it essential for commuters to stay informed about all current and upcoming changes to the road network.
