In Ukraine, there are often cases when people are mistakenly on military records or are not summoned and as a result receive a red status 'Wanted'. It turned out that this status can be removed without visiting the territorial recruitment center. Military lawyer of 'Prikhodko and Partners' Mykhailo Lobunko mentioned that there are ways to do this.
What red mark means
The red mark in the 'Reserve+' application indicates a violation of military registration rules, such as failure to appear for summons or failure to timely update data in the 'Oberih' registry. As the lawyer states, there are ways to resolve this issue, but evading mobilization without legal grounds is unlikely.
Ways to remove from search
To remove the status 'Wanted', several actions can be taken. For example, check the grounds for the search through the TCC or pay the fine online directly in the 'Reserve+' application. After this, the TCC will issue information to the National Police about removing the person from the search.
It is important to remember that removal from search does not mean evasion from mobilization, so it is essential to bear in mind all possible consequences.
Draft Law No. 12093
Draft Law No. 12093 simplifies the procedure for removing the status 'Wanted' through 'Reserve+'. After online payment of fines, this status should be automatically canceled. For individuals abroad, it is possible to contact the consulate or submit an application for remote removal from the search.
Experts recommend regularly checking the status in 'Reserve+', keeping documents regarding the reasons for absence, and seeking assistance from specialists if necessary.
All these measures simplify the process of removal from search but do not guarantee evasion from mobilization without valid grounds for deferral. Therefore, it is important to be cautious and responsible in military matters.
