Shocking information has come from the Sumy region – our eastern 'friends' have attacked the energy sector in Sumy region. This has caused problems with electricity supply in Sumy and surrounding areas. Workers are pushing their limits to restore electricity supply.

«The Russian army has attacked the energy sector in Sumy region, which has led to problems with electricity supply. The details and consequences are kept secret to prevent the enemy from understanding our next steps,» the company's representatives reported.

'Ukrenergo' also recommended limiting the use of electrical appliances due to the heat, which forces people to use air conditioners. However, even these restrictions cannot hold back our energy sector, which is recovering after attacks from Russia.

«We ask you to remain silent and not share photos or videos of the consequences of the attacks, as this may help the enemy in further actions. Also, avoid increasing risks for our energy sector,» they urged.

The attacks on the energy sector in Sumy region only underscore the importance of independence in energy security and the need to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure. Our energy sector has been under severe strain, but people are working to the limits of their capabilities to ensure electricity for all citizens.
