Russian propagandists are spreading a fake letter from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, stating that preparations are underway for the evacuation of ministries and state institutions to Western Ukraine due to territorial loss. This information has been denied by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.

The circulated 'document' contains information about circumstances that appear very realistic – housing for resettlement, a reduction in staff, lists of all dismissed employees who fall under the mobilization age. However, it is known that such a document does not actually exist. The fakeness of this 'letter' is also indicated by the large number of spelling errors.

Conclusion

Russian propagandists are spreading a fake letter from the Ukrainian Prime Minister to distort real events and incite panic among the public. This is one of many examples of disinformation actively used to influence society.
