Russia struck Kharkiv with missiles: 11 injured, including a child

In the night of August 18, Russia struck the Industrial District of Kharkiv with missiles. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referring to the State Emergency Service (SES).


According to the SES, the missiles hit the ground near a residential area, damaging windows in apartment buildings.



«Rescuers conducted an assessment of the damaged houses, freed blocked doors, and evacuated residents. SES psychologists provided assistance to the injured», the SES reported.


Earlier, Russian terrorists attacked a civilian industrial enterprise in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, which led to a fire. Additionally, in July, there were recorded Russian attacks on Kharkiv and the Kupiansk district, resulting in the destruction of a children's psychiatric boarding school and damage to SES buildings and equipment.



In the night of August 18, Russia launched a missile strike on Kharkiv, causing damage to residential buildings and forcing rescuers to evacuate residents. Previous attacks by Russian terrorists have already led to fires and destruction in this area, confirming the ongoing threat to the civilian population in Ukraine.
